Barbados Guide Beach Clean Up! #3!

by | Sep 23, 2025 | Beaches

With two beach clean ups done, it’s time for #3.

Barbados Guide (www.bds.guide) continues to update and expand our suite of online products and grow our user base. This year we launched Carib.Market (www.carib.market) an online multi vendor marketplace, designed to quickly get business selling online. We have also grown our Barbados Guide platform’s user base to over 7,500 visitors per month and climbing. We’re seeing monthly increased activity as locals and people from across the globe choose us, for their localized search needs. With a direct link from search results to Carib Market, businesses and vendors wanting to sell their goods and services online, now have immediate access to a willing local marketplace. Removing the need for cash, via redeemable digital gift certificates, coupons for service providers, and delivery options for local products and needed grocery items.

Our blog continue to educate and provide insights for those wanting to know more about what Barbados has to offer and what’s going on and coming up for the season. This one is all about our upcoming Beach Cleaning Up #3, we are once again heading to the stunning Carlisle Bay area on Sunday, October 19th at 8.00 am. It will be another morning filled with camaraderie, and the satisfaction of giving back to our beloved island under the sun.

We’re excited to announce our third community based beach clean up in the stunning Carlisle Bay area!

Keeping Carlisle Bay Clean and Proper.

So do join us on Sunday, October 19th, from 8.00 am to 11.00 am for a morning filled with family fun, camaraderie, sunshine, and the satisfaction of giving back to our beloved island. Once again, the founders of Barbados Guide, Rafal and Daniel, will be rolling up our sleeves, donning our gloves, and armed with our buckets and garbage bags, continue to work towards preserving the beauty of our beaches. Let’s once again come together to create a pristine environment for ourselves, our children, visitors, and the precious wildlife that call our shores home!

Bring the whole family along! Let’s instill in our kids the importance of environmental stewardship and the joy of caring for our coastal treasures. With your help, we’ll make Oct 19th another memorable Sunday! Some refreshments will be provided courtesy of the cutting edge and innovative local water company Eco Skywater. Click on their name to find out more about this amazing company and their air to water system. We have Beyond Limits supporting our efforts; their unique 24 hours gyms located across the country can ensure you arrive at the clean up, bright eyed bushy tailed and ready to move with vigor.

Another great partner is Paradise Foods, they offer the most comprehensive marine inventory, across the Caribbean that is all accessible through their innovative app. There you can order groceries whenever you want, and wherever you are: either from the anchorage on the day you plan to sail out, or even well in advance of your trip. Like our Carib Market home delivery option, they bring the provisions you need to your boat – whether at anchor in a bay, or docked at a pier! Of course Fresh coffee from Pop Up Coffee, will be available, and our friends from Enlightened Travelers unique hiking specialists will also be rejoining us to help clear the beach.

This event is again, partnering with Soul Street, a compassionate documentary film company and foundation from California. They film, find and fund inspirational content across the American Urban landscape, and are currently creating a culturally relevant local documentary to the Barbadian landscape. As part of their rhythmic outlook, we will be having a small fun Beach Bucket Drum Circle Session to conclude the effort. Together, we continue to make waves and some music in the fight against beach pollution!

With your help, we’ll pave the way for a future where our beaches remain clean and pristine for generations to come. We’re immensely grateful to each and every one of you who joins us on October 19th at 8.00am at the Browne’s Beach Car Park. Your presence makes a world of difference!

Let’s play our part, one beach at a time!
