We stopped in at It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere and had a great experience. I ordered the Tripleta with truffle fries and it was outstanding. The sandwich was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the truffle fries were crispy, seasoned just right, and absolutely addictive.
My wife had the Mexican Burger and it did not disappoint. It had great flavor, was cooked perfectly, and the toppings really set it apart.
The service was phenomenal. Ivan R. took excellent care of us from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. He really made the whole experience even better.
Great food and great service. We’ll definitely be back.

10 out of 10 would recommend Javier's Jalapeno Margarita! Best one I've ever had! Ask for Javier to make it. He's got it down to perfection!

If you put a bar next to a pool at a beach resort, you've already won half the battle—and Margaritaville knows it. The vibe? Impeccable. The soundtrack? Perpetually Jimmy Buffett. The food? Exactly what you’d expect if you've been to any Margaritaville: familiar, comforting, and zero culinary surprises. We had the chicken quesadillas, chicken sandwich, and fried plantains—no complaints, no standing ovations.
We kept coming back between getting sun at the ocean and sessions at the pool with our drinks. It’s the kind of place where the drinks are decent, the vibe is vacation-level chill, and your expectations meet reality in a relaxed, slightly rum-soaked handshake.
Oh, The Mai Tai is great.
Fun Fact: Did you know the first Margaritaville Café opened in Key West in 1987 and now there are over 30 locations worldwide—including one in an actual volcano in the Dominican Republic? Turns out, paradise is a franchise.

The service was excellent and the meals were delicious. You don't need to make reservations. The tropical style decoration make you feel really in an island. The skirt steak was great with tostones and the Mahí Mahi was also very tasty. As an appetizer, we choose the chicken wings. The passion mojito and the piña colada were exquisite. Recommended.

Visited 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar and had mixed feelings. The atmosphere is great—lively, relaxed, and exactly what you’d expect from a resort setting. The food was okay, decent but nothing particularly memorable.
What was disappointing, though, was the drink service. Being served wine in a plastic cup at a large hotel like Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort felt off—something as simple as a proper glass would really elevate the experience.
Also, be cautious with parking. If you drive in and use valet, there’s a $25 charge (we were charged $30 on our second visit), which feels more like a forced tip than standard parking.
Overall, a nice spot for the vibe, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the details.
