978 Lounge was one of our favorite spots in Saint Maarten! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the music created the perfect vibe. We loved relaxing on the comfortable beach lounge chairs while enjoying the beautiful setting.
What really made the experience stand out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and outstanding service, don’t miss 978 Lounge. We’ll definitely be back!

Go here 10 out of 10 for sure. The owner was awesome, the waitress and staff are good. The Fish and Chips was the best we have ever had. Amazing.
And the beach attendant had great recommendations at there place and other places on the island. MATHEW WAS CHILL and very informative.
Felt like we were in Europe in Greece. Great beach. Steps from great food, and drinks, and chill no rush attitude.

We stopped here for lunch on our ATV tour with splash in the sun. Friar Beach was very beautiful. There was lovely views from the restaurant. The food was good. Basic pub type foods is what we chose to eat for lunch but is was a good size menu. Can't beat the vibe in the restaurant because it's such so close to the beach. There was a bartender in a bar around the corner. Our server was attentive overall it wasn't extremely busy when we were there, but the vibe was good and beachy I have no complaints about this lunch spot.

We were visiting Friar beach and decided to eat here. The ambiance is beautiful. They have a swing for some nice pics on the ocean and the decor is very complimenting.
The menu has some French themed selections. I had the special this day and didn't care for it BUT the presentation was gorgeous. It's not that the dish was bad it just wasn't my preference. So I still want to say hats off to the chef.
The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and very accommodating.
I would definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxed meal in a beautiful element.
