for the money it’s fab. Great location. What could be improved- - The beach being cleaned better. Be like the boatyard it’s spotless. - regular pool cleaning after pool shuts to keep ontop of the maintenance. It’s annoying having the pool shut when we have kids that don’t like the sea. - drink service from the poolside, the bars and were slow to serve. - People would leave their towels from 7am on sun loungers and go out for the day arriving back around 4ish for a quick dip and out. This shouldn’t be allowed. So many people wanting a sun lounger. Pros - -Brilliant for the money -Great location -The food was great especially the poolside lunch menu fantastic! - the sea is lovely - loads of sun loungers - great evening vibes

It is what it is. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury and attention this is probably not the hotel for you. On the other hand, the location is excellent - roughly halfway between Garrison (for Pebble Beach) and St Lawrence Gap (excellent bars restaurants and nightlife). It is right on the beach with ‘free’ loungers and umbrellas both on the beach and around the pools. On the main St Lawrence to Bridgetown Road there are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance - St Lawrence Gap is an easy 20 to 30 min walk. Our room was well appointed with kettle and filter coffee machine. It was clean and well de orated and the bed was huge clean and comfortable but the real star was the view - right out over the beach to the azure Caribbean. Fantastic. Can’t comment on the food and drinks because we ate out for all our meals and drinks - sampling the many restaurants within easy walking distance. Housekeeping staff are very friendly. Front desk not particularly welcoming, or, it appears, very efficient although several were being ‘trained’. Recommended for location beach and views. It’s just not 5 star service. But if you plan to eat out and sample local life and nightlife, it has everything you need.

Rooms are outdated area is ok and has a few places to eat and a beach thats conveniently near by. I wasnt please with the hotel breakfast buffet price because it was to expensive and didnt offer a big variety. For the cost of my stay I definitely expected better.

Stayed at the Accra 2 weeks ago and it wasn’t as horrible as the other reviews say it is (at least to my family & I.) Yes, the hot water wasn’t working properly but it was quite refreshing with the weather and all. The staff were very friendly, kind and welcoming & the location is very convenient to get wherever you’d like to go (especially if you’re renting a vehicle) Gorgeous beach and clean poolside areas. You pay for what you get, hopefully they resolved the hot water issue by now.

We allowed the Emerald Yacht Cruises book this hotel as a post-cruise package. BIG MISTAKE! This is a 2 star hotel at best and heres why: The hallways and rooms are old and in desperate need of updating. Welcome to 1996 vintage carpeting and chipped Ikea flakeboard furnishings. There is a newer wing, but our room 332 has not seen any refurbishment since it was built in 1996. There was NO HOT WATER during the entire first day. The breakfast buffet is worse than any 2 star hotel chain in America. The omelette station was the only saving grace. Want a "free" lounge chair? Better get to the beach before 8AM, beg the attendant to find you one and leave something personal to claim a blue chair. The green chairs are so old and sagging that they should have been replaced years ago. It was not possible to use them. Pool was closed most of the time without explanation. The WiFi is pathetically slow everywhere except in the front lobby. Positives: Nice beach and landscaping. The staff is very helpful given what they have to work with. The 'free' welcome rum punch was a nice touch and very potent.
