Great location steps away from the beach. You need a car to get to town. While it is close and you could walk on the heat, it’s not advisable. There was plenty of parking at the property (front and back). The reception was almost always empty. Checkin over the phone was quick and easy though.
This is perfect if you want a very basic beach hotel room with pool and a bar on the pool. Otherwise, this property didn’t have many other amenities.
A hairdryer in the room could have helped make my stay better. There was no hairdryer and the sink in the bathroom is the smallest I’ve ever seen (see photos) The room only had one electric outlet in the whole room. Hot water was a problem one of the days coming in and out. Low water pressure was a problem both days.

We should have know when we arrived to check-in at 5pm and no one was around that this was not the place we expected. No one was there and I mean NO ONE! After searching the property, and calling the emergency number we eventually found the handyman who let us into our rooms and gave us our room codes. This was an issue as we were in a hurry. He did not, however, provide us with the wifi or other instructions. We were told to come back in the morning after 9am to check in. We saw very few staff our entire stay. The pool seemed dirty and there were dead cockroaches on the pool deck. The only reason we are giving this place 2 stars is that our bartender at the pool was EXCELLENT and very helpful. There must have been a party recently as there were deflated balloons and ribbons strewn about and in one of the rooms. The facilities were a little shabby and maybe unsafe in some spots. For example, there was standing water in one of the stairwells and I slipped a little coming down the stairs. We tried to check-out at the appropriate time and get a receipt, but alas, NO ONE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK! We definitely do not recommend this hotel when there are many nicer places in Rincon.

This is one of the worst places I have ever went to. The manager Michael is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL not only was his staff smoking illegal substances (weed) in the premises but I saw him smoking weed with two other employees right by the entrance of the hotel. When I asked for a manager I was so shocked to learn that he was the manager because he looked like a homeless man of the street. The staff was very rude and the food was absolutely disgusting. The only good thing about this place was the bar. The drinks were delicious and the bartender was very nice and accommodating. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

My husband and I just completed our stay at the aqua marina beach house from Dec 27th-Jan 1st. I must say we were somewhat disappointed. While we were greeted well upon check in we felt largely ignored during our stay. We never had any hot water in our shower and tried several times to contact staff with no response. We also did not have bathrobes as promised or any housekeeping for a 5 day stay. The contract I signed said housekeeping must enter every 3rd day but they did not.
The website was very misleading. It looks like there is a rooftop restaurant in pictures and it even says it on the chalkboard at the check in desk but it was never open. Only during the New Year’s Eve party where we were again ignored. After waiting 15 minutes at our table, my husband went up to the bar and stood there without being spoken to or even looked at. Then hole standing there, we saw the owner or his son make himself a drink without ever acknowledging us.
The whole vibe of the place felt like a money Hungry fake lie. The marketing pictures are great but do not deliver what so ever. It’s a shame because the place is beautiful.
I felt totally bamboozled. The aqua marine beach club is not what it seems. Not worth the money.

I appreciate the small boutique aspect of the Aqua Mariana Beach Club. This small quaint beach resort is directly across the street from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity as well. You can walk or drive to the local town square. When we arrived it was too early for check in, however we were able to store our bags and headed to the beach until our room was ready. The room was clean and well equipped for our party. The room temperature was comfortable. The host and other resort staff were super nice and accommodating. The bar was cute. The pool was amazing 🤩 We booked through a third party and didn’t realize kids were not allowed. Rather than kicking us out, we were asked to sign waivers for our teens. During our stay on the island, the power went out, but Aqua Marian Beach Club was prepared with a generator. Honestly, I can’t say one bad thing about this place. On my next trip to PR, I plan to stay here again.
