This person is a maniac having the only purpose extortion the most terrible check-in writing everything, making pics of the money, asking deposit 100$ without any clarification what is the purpose. I've asked if is for any damage, but not able to respond.. he has hidden intentions. Next day instinct confirmed me this, receiving a message with checkout (5$ to take the garbage out, 20 USD for any stain for a reusable towel. The room is a hole with small mattress 80 cm and wrapped in plastic. Probably is so greedy that want to muse the mattress as new 20 years. In the middle of the room, a table with 1 person set plates, forks, plastic glasses..is like a movie horror set. this is a Frankenstein that waits to lock a woman in basement. Is the worst room and experience in my life, nevers seen such behaviour . He puts a carpet in front of your door as a sign, due the door is opened exterior. If you enter the room, you can't put it back . I've been 146 countries and probably 1000 hotels. This is unacceptable, this person has no reality with tourism! No indication for breakfast, a free map..is a calculated person only to ripp off and waiting a mistake to charge.

Herbert was wonderful, Hes a very knowledgeable host that knows alot of the Island and I was able to have a wonderful time with his guidance. He's incredibly nice and friendly and easy to talk to. The unit was good and I enjoyed my stay at Aruba. I will definitely be back with him.

Noisy from constant car traffic. Not near anything touristic. Bus infrequent (hourly at best). Not a pub or restaurant nearby. Vehicle dependent location.

December last year I started my 3-month carribean journey here and it was the perfect start. Herbie is not just a host, he became a friend. We spend a lot of time together talking, eating, taking a ride, ... He knows everything about the island! He loves details, enjoying the small things in life and self made stuff and he likes safety and tidiness, which some people just seem not to understand. If you love a simple but joyful life, if your heart is on the right place, then you're at the right place here. Thx for the great time Herbie!
