The Aruba Ostrich Farm is an absolute must-visit when you’re in Aruba! This was my second visit, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The tour was fun, interactive, and incredibly informative. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the animals. I learned so many interesting facts about ostriches that I never knew before. One of the highlights was being able to get up close to the ostriches and interact with them. The property is also home to beautiful peacocks, which added to the experience and made for some great photo opportunities. The facility was very clean, well-maintained, and organized. The staff throughout the farm were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. There are clean restrooms on-site, as well as a café where you can purchase lunch, snacks, cold drinks, and water, making it easy to spend a relaxing afternoon there. You can tell that the team takes great pride in caring for the animals and creating a memorable experience for visitors. Whether it’s your first time in Aruba or you’re a returning visitor, I highly recommend adding the Aruba Ostrich Farm to your itinerary. It’s educational, fun for all ages, and a unique experience you won’t forget. I’ll definitely be back again on my next trip to Aruba!

This was a very unique place and even with the heat (we went last July), the kids really enjoyed themselves. We snapped a bunch of memorable photos and felt like we were right in the action without infringing on the animals' space or daily habits. There are certainly enough posted signs and precautionary steps that the guides take to ensure visitor safety, and they do a nice job making sure everyone has enough time to take in those family moments, once everyone warms up to the size of the ostriches. The farm is navigable but not ‘small’ by any means, just make sure you stay hydrated in the midday sun. The ostriches are impressive and loveable animals; there was a little pinch to their peck when being fed, but just enough to make you giggle and make you feel like you braved a more exotic encounter. Some of the tickets/tour prices include lunch, which we thought was a great value and even tastier and more complete than you might expect from a tour-with-a-lunch arrangement. I remember specifically the fried grouper being absolutely delicious, my fiance loved her chicken shawarma and the kids raved about the wings. The gift shop was great too; not an overwhelming amount of choices and mostly highlighting local artists…some of our favorite souvenirs came from this shop! There was plenty of comical signage around the premise, including in the bathroom, and our tour guide was a great storyteller with a fun accent that really drew you in as he brought you up to speed on everything Ostrich (and the other wildlife moseying about). While it may not be ideal to visit after a long day at the beach, due to the lack of tree and shade coverage, there is a large pavilion/dining hall/receiving area that you can always cool off under. We really enjoyed this tour and thought it was well worth our time, money, and carving out a spot in your vacation itinerary, since it’s more of an authentic Aruban experience; not the beach, not high-end shopping, just a nice reprieve from the daily action.

July2026: 4⭐: Overall, this attraction earns a mixed but generally positive recommendation. Unfortunately, the onsite restaurant is 2⭐ out of 5⭐ which was was a major letdown and significantly diminished the overall experience. The wildlife interactions and gift shop are genuinely worthwhile and provide experiences that are both fun and unique, making the visit enjoyable for families and animal lovers alike. However, the poor quality of the food I was served with my spouse prevents the venue from earning a stronger overall rating. The best approach is to visit the birds, enjoy the interactive tour, have questions for the tour guide, browse the gift shop, and plan to eat elsewhere. The ostrich farm offered a memorable and unique wildlife experience that was easily one of the more distinctive attractions we encountered in Aruba. Walking through the farm and interacting with the birds was both entertaining and engaging, with the ostriches themselves proving to be surprisingly interesting. Feeding them was a particular highlight, the slight pinch of their peck was just enough to make the encounter exciting without being uncomfortable. The experience extended beyond the ostriches as well, with a smaller enclosure housing turkeys, a goose, chickens, a rooster, a turtle, and ducks. These additional animals added plenty of added interest and fun. It was especially amusing to me to get one of the turkeys to respond to a turkey call and a rooster to crow back in response. The only disappointment on the tour side was the emu enclosure, as the emus were far less interactive than the other birds and felt like a missed opportunity for additional hands-on interactions. The souvenir shop was another standout part of our visit. Serving as the central cashier area for the activity, it was much more than a simple gift shop and offered a range of unique items that stood apart from the typical souvenirs found elsewhere on the island. Between the wildlife interactions and the shopping experience, the attraction delivered several distinctive experiences that felt refreshingly different from many of the island’s other tourist attractions. The restaurant offered a much more generic captured tourist type dining experience and failed to execute. The grouper meal was severely overcooked and unappetizing, and there was my concern about whether the fish being served was actually grouper at all. It didn't taste like grouper nor was the texture and thickness like grouper. The rice and beans tasted less than fresh, while a mango and strawberry smoothie arrived heavily diluted with ice chips, leaving very little actual fruit flavor. The restaurant’s one notable novelty is the opportunity to order an ostrich egg as part of a platter, which the tour explains is roughly equivalent to 24 chicken eggs and can feed four to six people. However, visitors should be aware that the preparation alone requires approximately an hour and a half due to the time needed to boil the egg.

I had a really fun time visiting Aruba Ostrich Farm. It’s definitely something different from the usual beach activities, and it turned out to be a great experience. The guided tour was interesting and informative—you learn a lot about ostriches and even emus, from their behavior to how they’re raised. The guides were friendly, engaging, and kept things entertaining the whole time. Getting up close to the animals was a highlight. It’s not every day you get to see creatures that big right in front of you! There’s also a small shop and restaurant area to relax afterward. Overall, it was a fun and unique stop in Aruba, especially if you’re looking to do something a little out of the ordinary. Definitely worth checking out.

Oh my gosh so much fun very informative guild, we got to feed the ostrichs my hubby has all the pictures from the ostrich from, a yearling ostrich ate out of my hands 🤩. Lots to see they had Emu's & Peacocks everywhere it was amazing and fun, don't forget to tip you guide and get a few fun items from the shop. If you're hungry or would like a beverage alcohol free or with it they are an excellent choice to eat at the tables are and art work is beautiful 😍.
