We visited Bambooshay after coming across it while looking for things to do in Tortola. We saw they were hosting trivia for charity on Wednesday night, which is what brought us in.
We arrived a bit early (trivia starts at 7) to grab some food and drinks. I had a piña colada and the almond-crusted salmon - both were delicious.
The service was fantastic - our waitress was so lovely and really added to the experience.
The trivia itself was fantastic. The host was engaging, and they offered both a tabletop quiz and a traditional quiz format. The questions were challenging but still doable, which made it really fun.
If you’re a trivia fan, I highly recommend stopping by on a Wednesday night. It’s a great experience for a great cause!

It’s a tourist spot, but it is way better than you would expect. I have visited multiple times during my trips to BVI as it’s next to the marina I sail out of. The food is fresh and tasty and the cocktails are delicious. Javier is my new favorite bartender!! Ask him to make you a passionfruit Mojito. You won’t regret it.

We are so glad we got off our cruise ship to find some local flavor during our stop in the BVI. We stopped by for “lunch”, but after a Painkiller and then discovering that the specials were Conch Chowder and Garlic Caribbean Lobster, we couldn’t resist.
The Painkiller was delicious (not cloyingly sweet) and the Conch Chowder was filled with giant chunks of conch and wonderful spices. Grilled Caribbean Lobster can’t be beat and the garlic took it to another level.
We spent a wonderful afternoon here outside under the giant tent (the entire restaurant is outside) and strongly encourage anyone visiting Tortola to stop in here.

Handy bar/ restaurant with a nice pottery store out back. Handy place for the guys to take a beer while the ladies shop. Really nice handmade pieces. We did not try the food. Like many restaurants in the BVI the chickens and roosters patrol the floor. Tented patio. Close to the ferry dock and the cruise terminal. Lots of parking nearby.

Nice central location, adjacent to pussers road Town. Friendly staff, food is very good - sit at the patio, at the bar or inside at a table. Good Friday night spot to chill and wind down after a long week. Age appropriate, more mature crowd, which is great. Live Dj on the weekend. Lots of parking across the street.
