Went to Carmeta's and as usual they had what I wanted. The staff are very friendly and treat me as family. Not too often do you feel this way when you go shopping.

Buy Local, buy fresh ... Given that Barbados’ $325 million in food imports accounts for approximately 90% of all domestically consumed food, with $88 million of this expense being attributed to primary agricultural goods such as lettuce and onions that can be easily grown locally

I actually went to Carmeta's. Staff in here are most knowledgable and friendly. This is the original gluten free store. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that there was food sampling of various products.
