Unfortunately, my experience with a Sotheby’s agent in Barbados was unpleasant, insulting, violating and unprofessional. I chose this company because of their name and reputation and sadly my experience with them was the polar opposite of what their brand promises. Highly disappointing

The biggest disappointment was watching my sister stress over details throughout our trip that she had meticulously planned and communicated to the company months in advance. Communication directly with the company was challenging, and so many things simply weren’t executed once we arrived. To their credit, they were quick to address one thing, like getting us ice midway through after other complaints, but these were details that should have been handled before we ever arrived. For a luxury experience, we shouldn’t have had to spend the trip following up on things that had already been planned and promised.
The communication between all parties was abysmal and took up a significant portion of our trip.
