Transport board is extremely unreliable!!
It is officially 9:12pm and no 8pm bus came for Sargeant Street route along with a few other routes.
It's really irritating having been at work all day and cannot get home in a decent time to prepare for work the following day. Everyday is the same thing with them.

Catching a bus in Barbados is less public transport and more pure adventure. We asked an old man at the Oistins bus hub when the next bus would come. His answer:
“I’ve been waiting for years, my friend.”
Honestly… it felt accurate.
The buses arrive when they feel like it. Some appear out of nowhere like rare Pokémon, others seem to exist only in legends. Getting to the East? Bring snacks. And patience. A lot of patience.
But when a bus finally shows up: loud music, fast driving, great vibes. Chaotic, unpredictable — but unforgettable.

I have a big problem with the primary school in St.Andrew by the name of A'DaCosta Edward not having there own school bus on mornings. They have to share it with athe Alleyne school children who does not get up to let the little ones sit so if now a child get hurt while having to stop sudden all a parent will get is a big Sorry. And on evenings it's had for them to get a school bus. The same way the Alleyne school children have there buses in the yard by 3:00 , those little ones need to get home as well. My next step is calling the NATION

However low your standards are for public transport, theirs is even lower. Terrible service, buses never on time and absolutely no communication from staff to let you know if buses are delayed or not even coming. Some drivers are very polite and accommodating, but it does not make up for the overall incompetence of the staff who you'll often see gathered chatting juvilly while you're waiting hours for a bus. The very highest bar of transportation you can expect from a government run service. Absolutely horrendous.

The St Patrick route to Bridgetown needs immediate improvement on evenings
On rare occasions Tap vans are sent from Bridgetown to St Patrick and these vans are usually making their last trip.
On most evenings after five pm, you can see as much as 25 to 30 persons waiting in six roads on a St Patrick to Bridgetown bus, this wait can be 2 to 4 hours long.
What hurts the most is that we see Buses being sent from the Mangrove Depot to Bridgetown on the Bayfield Route continuously, some drivers put up a six roads sign until the bus reaches six roads and then proceed to change the sign to Bridgetown after they past the roundabout.
Keep in mind that Bayfield has mini vans, plus ZR vans servicing six roads to Bridgetown.
The few minivans that work the St Patrick route finish work at 5 pm or 6 pm the latest.
Barbados Transport Board, why cant buses be sent from Mangrove Depot to Bridgetown on the St Patrick route on evenings??
