Our group of 12 absolutely loved our stay at the Blessed manor. We enjoyed relaxing days by the pool and in the gazebo. We used the amazing cooks that were recommended and enjoyed delicious meals with authentic Bajan flavor and hospitality. They were a couple of regular wear and Tear maintenance issues that we brought to the attention of the staff, and these were addressed immediately. We loved the convenient location that was walking distance to the beach as well as fast food and sitdown restaurants. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were all spacious. We highly recommend this vacation home to you and your family or friends.
Communication was prompt and courteous with all staff, especially Charmaine.
We are so grateful that we got to spend a wonderful vacation here.

We booked a confirmed, paid 5-night stay at Bluescape's "Inch by Inch" property in Barbados through Airbnb (March 2026). What happened next was completely unacceptable for a property management company that markets itself as professional with 40+ years of experience.
Upon arrival at the property on the day of check-in, the lockbox code had not been provided. Our assigned reservations agent, Cherisse, never provided check-in instructions. I sent over 8 messages through the Airbnb platform requesting the code, including an urgent message that my elderly mother was having trouble breathing. Not one was answered. I was traveling with my 70-year-old mother — who has a diagnosed chronic pulmonary condition — and my 7-year-old child. My mother was in physical distress standing outside the locked property. We called Airbnb support multiple times. No one helped.
Bluescape did not respond for 19 hours and 59 minutes. Their first message the next day was: "Is everything okay now?"
We were forced to leave, book a hotel at our own expense, and make entirely separate arrangements for our trip.
When we were at the property, we also observed broken glass scattered on the ground outside and glass tiles falling off the sides of the pool — clear safety hazards, particularly for anyone traveling with children. We documented these with photographs.
Bluescape's own Google listing shows office hours extending to 6:00 PM. My first message was sent at 4:19 PM. Airbnb's own platform lists their typical response time as 6 to 8 hours. They took nearly 20. Airbnb's "Community policy: Ground rules for home hosts" explicitly states under "Honoring reservations and refunds" that hosts must "provide their guests with the ability to readily access the listing at check-in (ex: correct directions, updated keycode, etc.)" — and under "Timely communication" that "hosts are expected to respond within 1 hour to guest messages received during local daytime hours" close to check-in time. Bluescape failed every applicable standard — Airbnb's 1-hour policy requirement, their own advertised response time, and any reasonable expectation for a professional property management company on the day of a confirmed check-in.
When we raised this formally, Bluescape's response was to claim our messages came in "after office hours" (they didn't — their own Google listing says 6 PM) and to suggest that because we hadn't replied to their pre-arrival emails, the situation was our fault. To be clear: there is no policy — Airbnb's or otherwise — that allows a property management company to withhold access from a confirmed, paid guest because they didn't reply to a pre-check-in email. We also observed that Bluescape edited multiple messages on the platform after the dispute began.
A note for anyone researching Bluescape: they claim over 1,200 reviews on Airbnb, but as of this writing they have only 2 Google reviews. Nearly their entire reputation exists within Airbnb's platform, where guests have limited recourse and reviews are moderated by Airbnb. Consider whether a property management company with 40+ years of claimed experience and a full staff should have been completely unreachable on the day of a confirmed check-in.
We would not book with Bluescape again under any circumstances.
