It has a diner vibe with the retro seats at the counter which I thought was very cool. The waitress (sorry I didnt get her name) seated us immediately from behind the counter, got our orders quickly, and was very friendly. This was our first time in PR so we wanted quintessential PR local food. I got the chuleta kan kan and my wife got the mofongo with chicken. Im a big guy who loves a good pork chop. I couldn't finish it so I finished it later at the AirBNB. It was amazing! And the mofongo was crazy good. Compared to US mainland prices the total would have been about $20 more as well. Highly recommend.

Service was amazing 👏 Everyone here is very friendly. The food is AMAZING! Lots of flavor and you have to try their spicy sauce. So so good! If you have questions about their menu please ask them. Their mofongo is top tier 👌🏻 👏

Café Manolín was the perfect place to start our day in Old San Juan! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like regulars. Everyone was so friendly, chatty, and welcoming, creating a fun and authentic local experience. Breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed the avena, a delicious Cubano sandwich, a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich, a mortadella sandwich, and, of course, an excellent cup of authentic Puerto Rican coffee. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. A special thank you to the staff for the wonderful hospitality. Great food, amazing coffee, and even better service made this one of our favorite breakfast spots. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in Old San Juan!

Ordered the Chuleta Kan Kan and it was perfection. Huge portion with beautiful seasoning and great crunch and texture. Attentive service and a long wait for large parties. I was a party of one so I was easily seated. The AC was on and it was a bit cold indoors so bring a shawl. Gracias por su atencion

Service was great the food was surprisingly mediocre for me. The Mofongo was lacking flavor. It needed to have a garlic sauce something bright on it and we were also served a dish that was supposed to be a stew, but it was just a piece of chicken breast with a wing and some rice and beans that +2 coffees was $60 I wanted to try this place for my last four visits but since they close early around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, it was difficult to get there so we were excited to try it but disappointed the chicken was dry and then Mofongo really did like flavor
