I really love this place especially when you go on the top and can see water on all three sides of you. You can see all the beautiful beaches. It’s extremely serious and beautiful. There are a bits of steps to go up and it’s pretty narrow.

A must-visit landmark in Aruba! The California Lighthouse offers breathtaking panoramic views of the island and the coastline. It’s a perfect spot for photos, especially on a sunny day. The area is clean, easy to access, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting for the views, the history, or to catch a beautiful sunset, this place is definitely worth the stop. Highly recommended!

We love lighthouses of all kinds. We visit every one that we vacation near. This one did not have any exhibit or museum. There was a sign that gave the basic history of this one. The stairs are very steep, and it's a 90 foot tall structure. So no one with bad knees. The stairway is unbelievably narrow so difficult to pass one another on the way up or down. This could limit ability of larger people to fit well up the stairs. Awesome view. Took pictures of the ocean off the north coast the beaches along the west side and the awesome view far down the island.

The California lighthouse is on the NW side of the island of Aruba and aptly named after a sunken ship. This is a great way to see the windward and leeward parts of the island with wonderful cacti and rock formation. Best of all a finished road takes you to the parking lot. There is a small fee to climb to the top.

The lighthouse and its history were very cool. There are amazing views, for sure, and a restaurant right there that was great! We did some exploring around the lighthouse after our trip up. Knocked off a star because it's really a traffic jam on the steps and up top but everyone managed.
