We took the electric boat tour of the Bioluminescent Bay, it was a one of a kind experience! The stargazing portion of the tour was unique and informative for someone who doesn't know much about astronomy. We enjoyed being able to put our feet in the bay while on the boat and interact with the bioluminescent. Tom was a a fantastic guide and his boat is one of a kind. If you have never experienced this, I highly recommend it.

We did a 7:20pm kayak bio bay tour with Cayman Kayaks (they had another tour directly after), close to the new moon. The Rum Point location was easy to find with free parking. They also have an electric boat option.
I highly recommend bug spray: we wore it and still got bit waiting on the beach before the tour. Our guide Derrick gave a great laser show narration of constellations on way to the bay, and stopped to show us Cassiopeia jellyfish after.
It was about a ¼ mile paddle each way to the bay, with breaks outside the bay on the way there and back. It really didn't matter that we made sure it was a new moon, because there was so many light outside the houses surrounding bay. Still, the bioluminescence was still impressive and worth doing the tour. We did a similar tour on Vieques (Puerto Rico) and there were no lights around the area. I can only imagine how amazing the bioluminescence would be if everyone was considerate enough to shield their lights facing the water.

Bioluminescent tour was a unique experience. Watching the ocean light up with the movement of my hands and feet was incredible. Perfect way to end the evening. The extra of the tour was the stargazing. We had a clear night and we were able to see a large amount of stars. Tom was an excellent host. This is a well run tour operation.

We had such a great time on the Bioluminescent Kayak Tour! It was such a fun and unique experience to do with friends, and seeing the bioluminescence up close was really special. Our guide, Callum, was fantastic. He made the tour fun, easygoing, and enjoyable from start to finish. Everything felt well organized, and we all had a really memorable night. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for something different and beautiful to do!

Oisin was fantastic in education and banter. The constellation teachings were very engaging and the Bioluminescent feature felt so magical; i felt like i was in avatar. They have such a great tour down pat. Highly recommend if you are on the island. Make time! Or at least paddle or swim yourself out deep into bio bay to feel the wonders
