Despite some average reviews for this place we had a good time. My spare ribs were succulent and my husband’s fish was nice. Cocktails were really tasty. Overall quite pricey though. Service was really good and quick but the manager is a bit sassy as some other reviewers had noted. They have happy hour 5-6 for cocktails. Huge drinks menu and quite a big food menu too. Located right next to the water so during the day the views are beautiful! At night time still lovely as you can see the water rippling.

Beautiful setting, located on the waters edge at the stunning Marigot Bay. Service is wonderful with friendly staff. The food could be better. I’ve tasted better shrimp. Do not order the sparkling water- way too expensive. But I would go back to for breakfast because of the seaside ambience.

Have actually ate here twice on my trip. Dinner and then lunch the next day. Nice atmosphere on the water. Food was really good. I had Shrimp Roti and chicken creole. Our server was attentive. For lunch we had fish and chips and shrimp and chips and a wonderful passionfruit colada. Try it out.

Chateau Mygo is an experience. We ended up going 3 times: twice for dinner, once for lunch. Look, we are not difficult customers at all. We didn’t have high expectations. But we had to come back to see whether the service consistently kept the fascinatingly low standard. It did.
The manager is the rudest human being I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. You are met with a look of incredulity on asking whether a table is free, she silently tosses menus at you, from a few metres away, and they land on the floor (or in your lap). The steady drumroll of her hospitality increases as you flail around trying to find a waiter in an empty restaurant, she snaps that you will have to wait, followed by a torrent of abuse as you try and pay. To time and time again get the angriest treatment from a manager and staff in a restaurant with virtually no other guests, was almost funny.
Hence why I would strongly urge you to go check it out for yourself! I promise you’ll be thinking about the friendliest manager in the Caribbean for years to come.

I was at customs and imigration and stoped by for a sparkling water.
The lady behind the bar came with a liter bottle of San Pellegrino Mineral water.
I asked her if she had not a smaller bottle and she said no.
The bill was 30 ECDollar or 9 €
In my life I have never paid for a waterbottle 9€ except in the best restaurants ( Michelin star ).
The happy hour drinks are waterd down rum cocktails , I dont even think there is Rum in it.
I do recomend to avoid this place , a total tourist trap.
