The supermarket has a great selection of items, but the shopping experience is incredibly uncomfortable.
Despite it being 2026 and the store being fully equipped with security cameras, customers are still followed aisle to aisle by security guards and even staff members who appear to be monitoring you closely. This has happened to me every single time I’ve shopped here. It’s frustrating, distracting, and makes you feel like you’re being treated as a potential thief rather than a paying customer.
Something as normal as checking a grocery list on your phone seems to trigger extra attention, which is honestly insulting. After repeated visits like this, it no longer feels like general security, it feels targeted and excessive.
Yesterday was the final straw for me. I’d rather shop at places like Rams or IGA, where you can browse in peace without being followed around the store. Security is important, but so is customer comfort, and this store is seriously lacking in that area.

It's good if you have a restaurant or retail store, but I didn't feel it was suitable for regular users.

Saw no fresh meat and very limited fresh vegetables. The aisles were nicely stocked. Good alcohol selection.

CK's Super Value was opened in 1995 as an extension of Independence Agencies, they offer a wide range of food and household items to the general public at wholesale prices when buying in bulk, they also do order and delivery service, these services are great for buying in bulk, take advantage by many who enjoy its convenience. They have very helpful staff and a welcoming environment for shopping, but as always don't just take my word for it, check them out today. 😏👍🏽
