A must do if you are visiting the island. Good sized trail that leads through the forest. Walk can be between 1-2 hours long, depending on what trails you take.
Path can get rough at times so ensure that you bring the correct footwear.
Entry is also cheaper compared to other places on the island.
Would come again.

** Recommended! ** This forest is a project designed to restore biodiversity and explore new crops to feed the island using terracing on the hills. There are several well kept walking trails- some relatively easy to walk in some difficult. Several scenic stops to get great pictures
Our guide & owner Matmoud explained the project’s progress and future plans. He explained the fauna & flora, agricultural techniques & challenges restoring the land after it had been stripped and used for sugarcane production when the British first colonized the island.
At the end, there was a tasting of various products that they are making using the plants and fruits that they’re growing. All tasty!
You should sign up for a tour that will drive you to the forest band arrange a tour.

Well kept trails through tropical jungle with many unique and interesting trees. A few overlooks have nice views of the eastern beaches of the island. It was lovely to walk on pebbles made entirely of coral. 3 hours of hiking covers the entire trail system.

Amazing experience! Loved our hike - we did all the trails and loved the variety of the landscape and hiking conditions. The hostess was informative and kind. We loved the Atlantic Lookout and the wooden built picnic area. We spend 2 hours in total.

Everything about this place was just wonderful! We were greeted in the most welcoming way and given a detailed and interesting history of the place. The dedication to the conservation of this stunning piece of land is remarkable and parts of the trails are very easily walkable.
Definitely a must do when in Barbados! Thank you for this wonderful experience! ✨💚
