This is a great day trip for cruisers, as it is a $5 taxi ride for two people! Carlisle Beach is a wonderful, white sand, clear water beach, and Copacabana is a great beach destination and reasonably priced. Admission, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, lockers and showers were all $40 each, and there are lower priced options.
The fish sandwich at the restaurant is very good. Large screen TV was showing a Cricket match from India!
No worries about getting left behind, as taxis line up in Copacabana’s convenient parking lot in the afternoon, and the ride back was still $5 for both of us. Will definitely return here on a future visit!

If you like the idea of a beautiful day on a peaceful beach then this is a place to avoid.
The sea is lovely and the beach not too crowded. The food is good and the beers reasonably priced (3 for $12US) but the club thinks that really loud music is just what its customers want, and the club next door tries to beat it for loudness. Even with headphones in you could still hear the DJs blasting out loud bass music all day.
It totally destroyed what could have been a wonderful experience.

Great place. Food was lovely. Watchout with the spicy wings. Quite spicy. You have to pay 10 $ entrance to the beachclub but pretty much all arround the area is like that. At least you have one drink included

At first we were disappointed the taxi dropped us here…we thought we were going somewhere else. But once we arrived, the atmosphere was great and the service even better! We loved our server, Melissa…she was excellent! Very kind and so patient with our questions. Such a great example of exceptional customer service! Would definitely visit again!♥️

This was one of the best places we went to all week. We got two chairs and an umbrella right next to the water. The drinks were wonderful and the water was beautiful. Everyone was very sweet and helpful.
