We have stayed here several times, most recently for 8 weeks. Priscilla and Mark are very friendly and really helpful. They were always happy to stop and chat, were very gracious hosts. We had the lower cottage and it is like having your own personal jungle (wildlife included!) and pool....beautiful! The apartment is very close to the beach and loads of bars, shops and restaurants. We didn't need the AC except for 2 or 3 nights, and we had unusually humid weather on our stay kitchen is well equipped....perfect for a stay -long or short!

Crotona Garden is exactly as described ... but so much more ! We stayed in the lower cottage and it felt like this was our own personal space and lush walled garden. Very quiet and peaceful, bird song and tree frog calls for company!! Two minute walk to the beach and Art Splash cafe at the end of the road - great for breakfast, lunch and craft market - fresh produce too! Mark and Priscilla are fantastic hosts- nothing is too much trouble. I have known them for years and have stayed at Mark's previous property too. I would highly recommend - but wish to keep it a secret too ! I have already booked for next year!

Apartment was lovely. No need for AC when temps were in the upper 80'sF. Fans did a great job. We left the windows and balcony door open most of the time. Priscilla and Mark are wonderful hosts. Sharing their time to help you get acquainted, find the local grocery, or learn logistics of spending time in Barbados. Highly recommend.

I spent a few months in Barbados, and this is the best apartment out of several I've been in. I wish I'd found it sooner. You couldn't have nicer and more helpful hosts than Priscilla and Mark. The apartment is bright and beautiful, I love how the living room opens up to the wide balcony with view of the garden and trees, it's basically one big semi-open space. It's also the only place I was very comfortable in sleeping without A/C on, it's airy in the best way. Internet is very fast and reliable.The place is quiet, but the location is great, just a short walk to the boardwalk, and my favorite beach bar, the Chill Café Bar & Grill.

Spent a couple of months at Crotona Garden cottage style upper apartment. Very bright and airy in a lush garden setting on the south coast in a quiet, residential area near the main road, bars and restaurants. Super comfy bed with a beautiful tropical breeze flowing through the bedroom. Did not use our AC very much, ceiling fan was all that was needed at night. Great hosts, that went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Highly recommended Annette & Basil J
