While strolling along the strip one evening, overwhelmed by the number of dining options, I’m so glad I stumbled across Dax. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was pleasant.
I was seated quickly, and our waiter was truly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. He checked on us just enough to make us feel well looked after without being overbearing. Our dinner was served surprisingly fast, and everything tasted great.
What made the night truly special, though, was being serenaded by a live saxophonist. It added a beautiful, romantic touch to the evening and really elevated the entire experience.

Really disappointed after what was a great first visit. I came back expecting the same great food,but this time the salad was stale (starting to turn brown), the calamari was cold,burnt and not edible at all and I had to send it back. The wings were also burnt.Generally the food took a while to come out and the burgers were smaller than expected. They ran out of fries,bacon and Hennessey. Their portions have also gotten smaller since my last visit. For such high prices I would at least expect fresher food and decent sized portions. The only good things were the service our waiter provided when he was not arguing with the bartender about his tips and the cold Heinekens. Needless to say I won't be going back.

Came to Dax based on recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. I truly enjoyed the Saltfish fritters (even came back another night just to have them) For my main, I got the curry goat with rice, peas, and plantain. While the curry goat lacked flavor that I was looking for, it was extremely tender, I wish it has a better sauce. My friend ordered muscles and rated them 10/10. Drinks were good, very nice wine selection, wouldn’t order any frozen drinks as they don’t hold well.
Service was excellent, Michelle and Nicole are an absolute joy. Pros and Cons to this local restaurant.

The guys who took care of us on the patio bar were so nice to deal with. Delicious food and drinks. Nice ambiance. One of the most delicious meals I've had on island. The mussels 😍

Stopped in for a late birthday dinner, food was amazing, and the staff were great! Would've been nice to have just a little something special for the birthday boy. Still a wonderful experience though.
