The best place for local Island rum shop experience. 3rd generation location in a neighborhood at the top of Rendevous Hill. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. This place can't be beat for a true local Barbados experience!

Me and wife love this place. We are working remotely for two months in Barbados and this place has turned into our local spot. It’s perfect for a couple drinks and a casual bite to eat.
We love the vibe here. It’s always a local crowd and that’s the way we like it. Friday night karaoke is a must. You won’t be disappointed.

I LOVE it here! We came once to check it out and have been back so many times since, bringing our friends who also have been back! Cleston is amazing, so welcoming, kind and the guy to ask for just about anything in Barbados. Kay is lovely too, happy to make our weird drink requests and even adding things to the menu for us to be able to eat, a really warm, welcoming and gorgeous person. Visiting the Barrel is an absolute must if you are visiting the island and want to experience classic Bajan hospitality and the authentic Rum
Shop vibe. Highly recommend visiting ♥️
