We had an amazing stay at Delfins Resort Bonaire! The beachfront location is beautiful, and the resort offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
One of the absolute highlights was taking a family e-foil lesson with Max and Jeroen, starting directly from the resort's pier. It was fantastic to head straight out onto the water. Thanks to their professional guidance, the experience was not only incredibly fun but also made us feel safe and confident throughout. The combination of this unique activity and the beautiful surroundings made our stay even more special. Along the way, we were even lucky enough to spot a sea turtle, which made the experience truly unforgettable.
If you're looking for something different during your stay in Bonaire, this is a fantastic family activity. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Delfins and look forward to returning. The resort is located south of the airport and Kralendijk, near excellent dive and snorkel sites as well as grocery stores. We stayed in a two story, 4-bedroom villa (without a pool) and found it to be clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The ground floor had three bedrooms; one with a full bathroom (shower/sink/toilet) and two with an in-room shower/sink and shared separate toilet room conveniently located in the hallway. The upstairs had the fourth bedroom with an in-room shower/sink and a separate toilet room close by in the hallway (or landing area at the top of the stairs). This upstairs bedroom had the smallest shower of the four bedrooms. The top floor included the living/kitchen area and a very large outdoor covered balcony with a dining table and separate seating area. We spent a lot of time in this space as it had a beautiful view of palm trees, a nice ceiling fan and was a great place for morning coffee or meals. The kitchen was well equipped, and the resort provides an initial starter kit with dish soap, a kitchen towel & sponge, coffee pods and tea bags. We like to eat in and always pack additional dish towels. The refrigerator is a decent size, but it should be noted that half is a freezer.
The unit conveniently connects to the internal resort pathways and is a short walking distance to the pools, one on either end of the complex. The unit has two sets of stairs, one inside the villa and one off the balcony that leads to the lower outdoor seating and the gate access to the larger resort. The “beach” pool tends to be the busiest as it is both near the beach and the bar/restaurant. The other pool was quieter with more shaded areas. Both pools are large. One of the best amenities at Delfins is that they provide beach front shaded lounges. There are lounge chairs with palapas but be aware that it does fill up fast. Best time to find a chair is early morning or late in the day; please note they have signs up that they do not do chair reservations. There are not a lot of sandy beaches on Bonaire that we could find and certainly not shaded ones. The water is accessible both from the beach and the pier. Water shoes are recommended as there are rocks as you enter the water and washed-up coral on the beach that you will need to cross to get in the water, unless you use the pier. The pier is quite popular for the kids and tends to be crowded where the ladder is located. The snorkeling out front is good but there are great locations a little to the south (e.g., Salt Pier, Angel City, Tori’s Reef). Delfins provides very nice beach towels with easy exchange. Overall, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the layout is well done.
The only disappointment for us was that the on-site gelato shop was closed while we were there. We made our way to the gelato shops downtown and they were worth the effort. Our personal favorite was Luciano. We also enjoyed lunch at Pizza Mare, Italian restaurant, which also happens to be across the street from the gelato shop!
We loved everything about Delfins. The staff were friendly and helpful, shout out to Rebecca! The resort is lovely and comfortable. We will be booking for next year!

This resort was so nice! It was beautiful and peaceful. Definitely great for a relaxing trip. The rooms were comfy, I loved sitting on the patio. All of the landscaping throughout the property was gorgeous. I enjoyed the gym, guest have access to the Dreamz Fitness. Fully functional gym with all the equipment you need!! Location was great as well. Just minutes from Salt Pier (great snorkeling spot) and from downtown. The food was okay, we decided to eat in town or at food trucks. Overall loved our stay, we will be back 😍

The rooms were beautiful. Housekeeping was hit or miss. Some days it was spot on. Sometimes it was barely done. One day they didn't latch our door and we were gone all day. Luckily nothing was missing. Front desk staff super friendly. Bar and restaurant staff very professional. Beach massage was heaven. Snorkeling right off the pier had lots of fish. Beach area was not your traditional beach area. No place to lay and no sand. We rented the penthouse and it was divine. Great location close to the airport. Really the only negative we had to say was about the housekeeping.

Had high hopes for this hotel - looked beautiful and the grounds are definitely soooo beautiful.
Check in was a mess, not enough workers to guests ratio - we were told room would be ready in 5 mins and front desk person would come get us outside when ready. Waited one hour. Went back inside and then they said room was ready, had we not followed up, who knows how long we would’ve waited.
The oddest part was of how the staff treated us (staff at the beach bar specifically.) They would flat out ignore us, not make eye contact at all. It was so bizarre. I have worked in high-end hotels all of my life and the treatment we received was so poor, really need some hospitality training. We went to multiple restaurants while we were here in town and everyone at the restaurants were so nice, so It was literally just at this property That we received this poor treatment.
Room view was of an old abandoned building.
Birthday decorations were sad.
Messaged their app multiple times for Assistance and never got a reply.
Definitely one of the worst Hilton experiences we have had.
