The vans to transport us were old & 1 of them overheated so we had to sit on the side of the road for 40 minutes waiting for a replacement ride. The driver never talked to us or told us what we were seeing. The stops we made were spectacular!!! Rain Forest, Hibiscus Falls & River Tubing were all wonderful!!

I really love Dominica 🇩🇲 it is very sad that’s many cruise ships abandoned this place! We came there by luck because for some reason St Lucia was exchanged on Dominica 🇩🇲 they made for us a parade :) in this place I felt safe, lots of cheap nice food and incredible, amazing nature! I and my husband we love nature and hike and it was really the place for our passion! Do not expect to find there great beaches :) There you will not find stupid shopping as in US Virgin Islands but you will find nature and beauty!

Rained all day but we made the most of it. Found a driver to take us on 2 hour tour for $100 for 4 people. Stayed dry and admired the vegetation waterfalls and towns.Informative and super friendly! Many cabs there but we picked Fredos

Great cruise port, easy to navigate. Employees friendly and helpful. A beautiful and welcoming island with beautiful people. The food is amazing! A day trip, very nice.

You get off the ship straight in to the town. There are no annoying diamond shops, etc. It's a poor island and it was badly damaged by the hurricanes, but this also means it's unspoilt by developers.
I liked it. It may seem a bit intimidating but several quite tough looking men I passed said, "Hi!", with big smiles, so you can feel perfectly safe.
