as a local I've not stayed there but have eaten at the restaurant on many occasions. the food is by far got the best quality, originality and taste compared anywhere on the island. the atmosphere and view are paradise with the eastern Atlantic breeze always blowing through. the amount of love, attention put into the menu and prepared food is obvious and makes the food just that much more delicious. their attention to the details goes right down to the fresh cut fries and house made smokey ketchup!! making a day trip out east and spending some time at the restaurant and the grounds is well worth it. also, if you're gluten free, their in house gluten free options are better than any I have tasted. their menu is super gluten free friendly! I cannot recommend the chef and the restaurant enough!

This is a very tranquil place in a gorgeous Caribbean setting and style. With a view on the Atlantic from a deck, either your own or at the restaurant, you’re bound to be feeling happy.
The road to the lodge had seen better days and is in need of renewal. Be careful!
The restaurant has a diverse creative menu and has wonderful vegetarian options. Service is excellent.
The lodge is highly recommended if you want peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the West Coast of Barbados.
Remember: there’s no safe swimming on this part of the island.

Absolutely loved my stay at Eco Lifestyle Lodge! The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to unplug and truly relax. The rooms were clean, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable, with lovely eco-friendly touches throughout.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making the stay special — always happy to share tips about the area or help with anything we needed. I also appreciated the sustainable focus; it felt good supporting a place that’s so mindful of the environment while still offering a beautiful, cozy experience.
Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil, refreshing getaway in Barbados.

We just ate at the restaurant and it was phenomenal! Absolutely beautiful and stunning property. All of our dishes were creative and had multiple layers of flavor. Catch of the day was perfect and the Cassava Gnocchi truly were little pillows. What a wonderful place!

We loved it. super quiet and relaxing environment. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Fantastic food and drinks. Requires a car to explore the island from this location.
