El Grill Restaurant was a great spot for a relaxed meal with an amazing view overlooking Mambo Beach and the ocean. The nachos were excellent—so good that our group had to order another round. The burgers were also delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. A special shoutout to Kerri, who provided attentive, friendly, and timely service throughout our visit. He made sure everything was taken care of and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming, the views are beautiful, and it’s a perfect place to unwind, especially around sunset. Whether you’re stopping by for drinks or a full meal, El Grill offers a memorable dining experience with great food, excellent service, and a fantastic beachfront setting.

We stayed in Mambo Beach at 1 Mambo and we ate at this restaurant 4 times in our 6 day trip. That alone should tell you how good it is lol. Their system for ordering and making sure that you are not waiting long for anything is very efficient and their food is very good. We ordered the chicken fajitas and we are from Arizona so although it’s a little different than the authentic Mexican we are used to, it was a great flavorful dish with a Caribbean twist of roasted corn on the cob on top of the fajitas which you can cut off the cob and mix in. We also loved chips and dips. The Owner group is excellent and very personable. They’re always standing up front and watching everything and greeting you.

The service and location are great. For us, the food was sometimes very good, sometimes just OK. But certainly give it a try. I particularly enjoyed the Mexican Fish Stew.

this place was mediocre at best. we got chips and salsa and it was good, nothing crazy. the service was okay and they came because of the lights on the table but the servers were not knowledgeable about anything. *** NOT AN ALLERGY FRIENDLY PLACE*** I asked for corn tortillas because of a gluten intolerance. They gave me flour and when I asked them to verify they said it was still corn. It was in fact flour after I asked multiple times and you could tell by the texture, look, and smell that it was flour. They finally brought me corn tortillas and they were completely old and stale. we also ordered a steak and asked for it medium. they brought it to us and it was welllll done. like no pink at all. nothing was special about this place and I wouldn’t come back or recommend. the atmosphere was good but that’s it

Go at your own risk. The service is insanely horrible! Our food was taking over 45 min while everyone else who was seated after us got and ate their food already. The waitress kept passing by our table and not even acknowledging that we haven’t gotten our food. Almost like she kept avoiding us. We kept asking and they kept saying oh sorry there was a mistake in the kitchen but then more food kept coming out and served at other tables. I this point I didn’t feel comfortable eating there. All the waitresses/ waiters knew we haven’t gotten our food yet and kept avoiding us. I asked for our food to go! Then when we finally got our food packed and ready to go, there were no utensils and we asked for some and the person who seemed to be the one in charge told us sorry they didn’t have any available. At this point I had enough and just walked out.
