Very friendly hosts, was able to book a room on a short notice and what a view! Rooms run off rain water so had to keep showers short and did have some critters living in the rooms with us but to be expected. Would definitely come back

I highly recommend staying here if you do not mind rustic accommodation. Some key things to set your expectations, room does not have AC (however I found the fan to be quite sufficient given the cool weather at night), and there may be lizards / bugs in the room. However the bed does come with a mosquito net and it does work to keep them out! Not many mosquitos to begin with anyways. You do get a private bathroom that is a separate out building directly next to your cabin. You get a shower, and a composting toilet to yourself. I cannot recommend this place enough. I watched the sun set into the ocean each day with a beer in hand, that I easily procured from the honesty bar! You are surrounded by greenery and you have a stunning view. You are also walking distance from Windwardside. There are not many places in the world where you can watch the sunset into the ocean while on the toilet. Need I say more?

We loved our time at El Momo!! Andries is an absolute hoot and he and his partner took such good care of us! The views from the cottages (even from our shower!) are absolutely breathtaking. The breakfasts they provide are delicious. We loved hanging by the pool after a day of scuba-diving or hiking. Everyone we met staying there was friendly. Definitely for the bit more adventurous type because of the outdoor feel and the climb to get there, but it's worth it! And they come in and clean your cottages which was such a nice treat! 10/10 recommend staying at El Momo!

The view is magnificent, the staff is friendly, the service is agreeable, but the accomodations are just okay. Climbing so many steps with luggage in hand cannot be safe. At night I did have a little problem with the bugs, but the bed was very comfortable for me. In summary; it's not the most luxurious, but it is affordable and the view alone makes it worth it.

Andres, Ava and Birgit took wonderful care of us while we stayed there. The cottages are cozy with great views of the ocean and Mt. Scenery. We will return in a couple of years to the beautiful island of Saba.
