Gallo Espresso Café Bar is so perfectly located in the Ponce plaza that you can practically overhear the historical town gossip right from your table. I went by at night for some coffees and hot chocolates, and the drinks were so spectacular they genuinely revived my will to live. The Tiramisu Latte was the absolute king of the night; that thing was so good I thought I was experiencing a religious miracle. The staff treated me with such brutal kindness that I almost forgot my usual grumpy face and considered giving them a hug. The spot is awesome because it has a indoor space for those who hate to sweat, but also a little table outside if you want to pretend you are a poet under the stars. To close the journey, the parking is on the street and tends to be harder to find than an honest politician, and they accept card payments.

I would say this place has delicious food. For the most part it was really good but the French toast could have been cooked a little longer. Atmosphere is relaxing and is in the plaza nice for a walk after your meal. The ice caramel latte 10/10 Food 8.5/10. But definitely will come back to try other options!

The experience is medium. Strong points are the kindness of the customers and the coffee: usually i would have rated it medium, but very good for the standard here. Weak points: pastries and cakes (it is my pov). The other choices (salty ones) are good and abundant.

Great local experience, perfect place for after church or just enjoying the scenery. Located in the heart of downtown, highly recommend.
