Nice beautiful park. Monkeys can be seen in the wild or usually with the monkey whisperer.
Koy brought in by the Japanese live in the body of water.
Very peaceful place which we need to keep preserved. I Would highly recommend a tour here and the surrounding area.
I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful lake (volcano crater) inside the Grand Etang Rain Forest. Admission is free to visit, you cannot swim here, home to the mona monkeys and lots of beautiful trees and flowers.

The trail around the lake is a mudbath even in a dry weather and has no views. I would suggest just looking at the lake from the parking. Haven't seen any monkeys in the 5 hours that we were hiking in the area.

We took a local tour transport to see this amazing natural forest reserve. The name of our driver was "Frame" everyone in the community knew him, he kept us entertained from the moment we were on the bus to the Grand Etang. He was knowledgeable in explaining this Grand Etang lake which was once a Volcano. I enjoyed everything about this location it's just Natural with rich vegetation and greenery.
This was an excellent tour and I would recommend you to try it.

Grand Etang National Park is one of Grenada’s most refreshing natural escapes. The cool mountain air, peaceful lake, and surrounding rainforest create a calming atmosphere. The hiking trails are well worth exploring, and the scenery is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting a break from the busy coastline.
