We came by cruise to Grenada - Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas. We were only there for a day visit. We wanted to have a safe way to experience our first time in Grenada and we were lucky to have found their booth just right outside port customs. It was a 45 minute ride that took us around the port and surrounding areas. We took a lot of photos that we will always cherish. We really enjoyed the experience.

When I researched this online it was advertised as a “hop-on-hop-off” type service. Just beware this is NOT how it operates. It’s a simple 45 minute ride with only one photo stop and to be brutally honest, there’s nothing worth seeing on the ride that’s not within a short 10 minute walk of the cruise terminal. If the fort was open AND this stopped there so you could hop off and later hop on, that would be ok as it would save you a walk up the hill. But the fort is closed and it doesn’t stop there anyway. It’s not worth $15 in my opinion.

Imagine that this activity is only available when there is a docked cruise ship. So what about other visitors?

A lovely city tour on the open-air Discovery Train for USD 15 per person. Highly recommended. 45 minutes. Starts and ends at the cruise terminal exit.
