Honestly, I’m in two minds about writing this review because I love this place so much I almost don’t want to share it (kidding!).
The Grove is such an unexpected gem—tucked away, yet central enough to be convenient. It feels like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle, the perfect little calm in the storm before heading back into a busy day.
Parking & Location (5/5): The property is well maintained, set off the road so you can park safely. Parking is somewhat limited, but it matches the size of the space so I had no issues parking.
Service (5/5): The staff were welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and really elevated the experience.
Food (4/5): The menu offers a nice variety, and I decided to try their fried potatoes with house-made spice. Normally I prefer mine plain, but I was pleasantly surprised—the seasoning was flavorful without being overpowering. I paired it with the ribs, which were tender and delicious, and I really appreciated that it came with a fresh side salad to balance out the meal. The option of flavored water was another thoughtful touch that stood out.
Atmosphere (5/5): This is where The Grove really shines. Walking down the entrance feels special, almost like walking an aisle, it actually made me think it could double as a unique venue for a small wedding or event. Inside, the blend of seating, sturdy benches for character and comfort, plus chairs with back support (I prefer seating with back support, so I was happy for the mix). Ceiling fans keep the space breezy and comfortable even on hotter days. The whole setting is tidy, well-kept, and has a natural charm that’s hard to replicate. Music playing in the background was perfect!
All in all, The Grove is more than just a place to eat, it’s an experience. Great food, excellent service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer. Hope they can extend their ordering hours until 3 in the future for those days when I need to grab a late lunch 😊. I highly recommend giving here a try!

This little gem of a cafe is perfection.
Just enough off the beaten path that it’s a IYKYK kind of place.
Loved the food, the vibe and the aesthetic.
Four stars only because they were out of items on a day that wasn’t busy.
If I was Bajan, this would be my hang.

Well! This is my second visit to Barbados, my best friend stays in Saint Michael, We went to her place and she took us to this restaurant for breakfast since it’s just few blocks from her house.
This is a garden restaurant with lots of greenery, Very friendly staff and great atmosphere.
We ordered eggs with avocado toast and grilled potatoes, smoked salmon bagel, food is excellent and tasty.

First time visit. I'd say it's a Quiet and quaint location, clean and spacious (occasional road noise but it certainly didn't deter us) There's background music playing it's not too soft or loud - I'd say perfect volume.
Food was delicious we tried the beef loaded fries and pork n chips (the diced pineapples complimented the sauces perfectly)🤤
My only initial issue were the sandflies that thought I was the main course haha but, the staff brought over some repellent and that was greatly appreciated.
P. S great washroom facilities.

A hidden gem! Fantastic service, beautiful decor, and delicious food. I had the best chai spiced tea and there are vegan options available on the menú. My favourite is the plantain nachos with guacamole and picó 🤤🥰
