I stopped by Hideaway Bar & Restaurant after hearing about it from a local party bus and it turned out to be such a cozy little spot, probably had the best rum punch I’ve tried, and the owner was super sweet and accommodating, even had me sign the surfboard which was a fun touch, the smaller seating actually makes it feel more personal and relaxed and I’d definitely go back.

Attractive n cosy setting... nice lighting; Well stocked bar n professional bartender; waitress deliveries were prompt, even when patrons were outside. She was friendly too.. Albeit
Food was expensive... the breadfruit chips were very minimal from the fish and breadfruit platter.... so in essence a steak of fish n 2 salads cost $35 Bds. They did provide some cup cakes🤷🏾♀️
The Dj didn't have or pretended not to have the Barbados National Birthday song by Lil rick🤣🤣 Reallll vibe killer. While l was trying to pressure my cousin to dance for his birthday... lo and behold the cook or owner or whoever she is came to the rescue like Patethic Patty... telling him he doesn't have to dance if he doesn't want to. This is what we do to everyone in our family... a tradition of putting the birthday person on the spot. Its fun and builds gr8 picture memories... the cook should go n pick couple more breadfruits n mind her bad word bad word business.
I would recommend it if you want somewhere private like to carry a side chic or something. But l won't be going back.

Interesting location and decor, waitress was nice but service was incredibly slow and the pickled pigtail was gross. The worst part was there was not any pricing on the one hand-written menu so there was a HUGE shock when the bill came. Very very expensive for the okay at best food.
