Try to come on your own to cherish this little gem by yourself. Off-season would be helpful as well). Move wlowly-- it is a small place. They used to stream classical music through excellent hidden speakers but when I visited it was classic NYC bar jazz, which was a daring but totally successful choice. Even the gift shop/restaurant (both appropriate in size and style) are nice. I meant ssed Mr. Hunte but would have loved to learn about his collection of artifacts throughout the garden.

This is probably the best garden to visit on the island, clearly a real labour of love created over many, many years. Beautiful, serene, full of colour, plenty to explore, loads of places to sit and just take in the scenery and hear the wildlife. Nice little cafe, again with great views to admire the sheer amount of vibrant plants on show. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time, you will feel every moment spent here worthwhile.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful botanical garden! We were here for eight days in Barbados for our wedding/honeymoon and explored various places on the island… This was by far one of our favorites!!! truly amazing!! incredibly manicured, exotic, and gorgeous plants…

Great place. So many different plants and flowers. Amazing artful decor and touches everywhere. Very peaceful as well, listening to the natural sounds but there was also some light soothing jazz playing. They do weddings as well, there was one ending when I got there.

beautiful tropical gardens that provide a gorgeous reprieve from the hot sun. great variety of plants and we enjoyed hearing the jazz and the birdsong. the cafe had a big menu and the lemonade was a bit too ginger-forward for my taste but was still refreshing.
