Just visited today for the first time while in sxm. As I approached the register, the cashier immediately told me that her side was “card only,” before even asking how I planned to pay. I told her that I had a card. While I understand letting customers know which payment methods are accepted, her tone and overall demeanor came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great first experience

Some items can be overpriced due the being on an island. The juice and smoothie bars was pretty good since they have happy hours 2 for 1 . Enough items to supplies your house needs . Even discount for students.

We've visited St. Maarten 3 times now and have made sure to come to this market multiple times on each visit. My wife has some food allergies, so finding products which are gluten and dairy free while traveling can be difficult. This market has a few options which have made our stays so much better.
While the prices are high compared to the states, they're definitely in line with other stores on the island and are definitely lower than some.

Convenient when you’re in the neighborhood. They have a breakfast bar and pleasant setting with seats if you want to eat in.
Good quality products but expensive! Mark up much higher than Carrefour. They don’t give you an itemized receipt making it hard to figure out how much each item was.

We ordered a matcha latte (with oat milk, caramel syrup, vanilla syrup, and a bit of cinnamon). I didn’t like it at all, but my husband enjoyed it. I found it had a strange aftertaste, though it’s probably because I don’t like matcha in general.
Otherwise, the waitress was very kind and attentive. There are lots of interesting items in the shop.
I recommend it.
