Melly's Bon Mange (good food) is a small outdoor covered area between buildings next to the beach. Melly was warm, friendly and with a good sense of humor serving her delicious carribean food. It was delightful meeting her bright young children and hearing Melly sing to the carribean music while cooking in the kitchen. Fishermen blew their conch shell while cleaning their afternoon catch only steps away on the beach assuring the freshest fish possible. The fish's creole sauce was spiced perfectly, accompanied by salad, noodles with vegetables, lentils and delicious potatoe salad. A wonderful experience and we will definitely come back.

First time dining at Melly's Bon Manje and we will definitely be back! Close to the pier and around the corner from the police station, multiple signs make it easy to find. Melly is welcoming and kind, and her food is absolutely delicious! I especially loved the coconut sauce on the fish! My husband loved the plantain fritters, we haven't seen them prepared this way before. Everything on the plate was delicious. If you are in Laborie, don't miss out on this amazing food!

Melly’s was our favorite restaurant in Laborie. We went back multiple times because it was just that good! Melly is so friendly and the food was a great price. Both meals that we had were phenomenal. Every side was also amazing. Would highly recommend to anybody who comes to Laborie!

Both Melly and her husband were absolutely lovely. We arrived just after they had already closed, but they still welcomed us and served us, making us feel completely at home. The place is small but full of charm, right next to the beach. The food was delicious and the service was very quick. If you are near Laboire and want to enjoy good, local food in a cozy atmosphere, this is definitely a place you should try.

We were recommended by a local resident to try Mellys Bon Manje restaurant on Laborie beach near the jetty. What a great recommendation.
It is a small, attractive offbeat place and the staff are spot on perfect , giving us a warm and relaxing welcome and looking after us so well throughout.
We had a spicy spinach soup to start(wish I'd asked for the recipe!)followed by Kingfish in creole sauce with a great variety of vegetables accompaniments, then pistachio icecream. Everything was totally delicious, beautifully presented and excellent value. We ate at 6 and from 7 the place was practically full.
Many thanks to Melly and family for a wonderful last evening in Laborie. We'll know where to eat next year.
