Followed google directions down a narrow single lane dirt road to an opening about 300 meters from the beach. The dirt road continued but was muddy and with pretty big ruts, glad we decided to walk the rest of the way, fair chance we would have been stuck in the mud even with 4WD. We were alone on the beach just before sunset walking about a mile to the south and back. Plastic washed up from the sea and a little seaweed, but not so bad as other reviews make it sound. It's isolated and we enjoyed being all alone in the wide open beauty of the large waves crashing the sizeable beach area. Dont plan on a swim, just too rough, and no shade. For a peaceful walk, nothing more.

A great view mostly. The sea air is a nice change, especially to smell it. If you have a pick up truck, make sure to travel the dirt roads. The sights you see are pretty cool. Take pictures if you can also. You wouldn't be disappointed!

Breathtaking and natural. Something very satisfying about starting at Cherry Tree Hill and driving all the way down to the sea. However, this beach is overrun with garbage and the sargasm is piled so high you can’t walk to the water. Disappointing.

Stumbled across when exploring east coast. Fabulous scenery, people horse riding, locals fishing (we were too and caught a snook), and a herd of friendly goats. It was slightly hard to get to the way we came - dirt road + very short walk at end, but well worth it. Wouldn't recommend swimming here or anywhere on east coast due to Atlantic swells.

Red Tide has taken away anything this beach once had. Couldn't even walk out to the water as the long red tide seaweed piles were too deep and tall to get through. Makes us more appreciative that St. Maarten works hard to maintain their beaches from this invasive tide. This beach showed what happens when the tide is left natural. Even weeds don't grow.
