Where do I start with this beautiful property! We arrived when 2 schools were there. Tons of kids that were running around, and it was definitely chaotic. Admission ( as of 11/2025) is $6 BBD per person. If you’re wanting a tour. Then it’s $10 BBD per person. Not too bad for a national trust. We elected to just roam around, and see the property as the individual working was definitely handling a ton of tasks. Your $6 BBD is refunded at the cafe. Definitely stop, and enjoy the local coffee, and food offered here.

Great experience at the windmill, lovely little cafe there run by the friendly lady who does the tour who has a great deal of knowledge to share. Well worth spending the few dollars to get an understanding and insight into the history of the windmill and surrounding area, as well as some great views. @dkdoestravel

An absolute highlight of our trip to Barbados. Recommend the guided tour to learn about the history of the sugar mill, the plantation and more about Barbados’ past. Our tour guide was incredibly passionate about history and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with her. There is a cafe as well with snacks and drinks. recommend the juice flight to try out any juices on the island you haven’t tried yet!

Super cool spot. There was a field trip here when I went but ended up paying for the tour anyways. I am glad I stopped to learn about the history.

Beautiful views of the hills and the ocean. Nice windmill for pictures. Very nice cafe run by a very friendly lady. Your admission of BBD 6 per person is a credit you can use at the cafe. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the ocean from the cafe and windmill. Highly recommended place to visit.
