A Perfect Stay at Ocean Blue Resort! Our stay at Ocean Blue Resort in Barbados was nothing short of amazing! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located with stunning ocean views. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—they were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. From lounging by the pool to enjoying the nearby beaches and local attractions, everything was seamless and enjoyable. Ocean Blue Resort truly gave us that authentic island experience with a touch of luxury. We can’t wait to come back!

This is wonderful place! OceanBlue is intimate, scrupulously clean, quiet (except for the wildlife) and located right next to the ocean. Meaning that the pool is 10m from the waves breaking on the rocks… It’s not a big corporate style gig. It feels like staying with friends. You’ll need a car if you want to get about (as others have said), but you could just meander from room to pool to bar all day. The cocktails are great! Most of all, the team are simply wonderful. Everyone seems to take pleasure in caring for you, and making you happy. All the staff seem joyful to be there. I had some crises during my stay (which were not related to my stay), and everyone was both helpful and solicitous. I felt secure and cared for. OceanBlue is reasonably priced, and I thought that it was excellent value (though you should not expect five-star trappings - which waste your money, anyway). I can’t imagine why you would not take a five hour flight from Toronto - as I did - and trade a cold winter for a week in the sun at a home-from-home! Barbados is also delightful. The warmest and most welcoming people. But above all, this is a jewel. I want to go back!

OceanBlue Resort Barbados is truly a hidden gem! I stayed there for a month two years ago and returned again from 6th–13th October 2025 and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and the atmosphere is relaxing, tranquil, and deeply healing. It is the perfect place to unwind and feel at peace. I highly recommend this beautiful family-owned boutique hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and rejuvenating stay in Barbados.

We just spent a 9 days at Ocean Blue and we cannot recommend this place enough. The owners and staff deserve 10 stars. We rented a car and visited the whole island and loved having a home away from home to come back too every night. The way they treat you at Ocean Blue is nothing short of amazing and we are leaving a family behind in Barbados! (Kay, Lulu, Von, Asher, Hermione and others we are grateful to have met you!)

Booked them on Booking.com for April 2026, now in Dec 2025.The policy states free cancellation until a month in advance of arrival and no mention of a 50% deposit. Two days later discovered that they charged my credit card , about 50% of the total cost. I've emailed them. They claimed that its their standard policy, yet refused to acknowledge that it's not what it is advertised on Booking.com. Booking.com is on it now too. Needless to say, I've cancelled this booking right away. Can't stand such nonsense. Update: The property did respond with an explanation. However, I insist that it is not clear that 50% will be charged at the time of booking. I am attaching screenshots of the booking page and confirmation email. Now, there is no reason to take whole 30 days to process refunds. Based on other reviews, seems like people are waiting longer.
