This is a beautiful restaurant on the sea. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good. The food, however, is extremely disappointing. There was one vegetarian appetiser and one main vegetarian dish. We asked the chef if we could get additional options and the only suggestion was a basic pasta with tomato sauce. The plates we order (aubergine chaat, spicy pumpkin soup and penne with pesto sauce) were not well cooked, and their price disproportional to the quality. Not recommended for vegetarian and vegan clients.

There was a buffet-style dinner, priced at 75 xcd Eastern Caribbean dollar), inludind service charge and VAT. We had dinner with 2, ordered 1 beer and 1 small bottle of sparkling water. When the check arrived, they charge us 271xcd or 100 something USD. When I complained about it, they simply said that the price on the paper was wrong. I spoke to a local about it the next day and she said that the buffet dinner is always 75 xcd, all included. So we were ripped off as tourists. I recommend not going there.

Today was my first time at Palisades Restaurant and I absolutely enjoyed my experience. Food was excellent. Much appreciation goes to my server Richard. It was his first day and he did an exceptional job and provided excellent customer service! ✨️🙏🏾

So far I've only eaten here during Sunday brunch, but it is always phenomenal! Every time I'm visiting Dominica, I plan to attend brunch here with family. We absolutely love it! The combination of local foods as well as other international dishes really makes it a treat. Kudos to the chef and kitchen team! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I hope to visit during other meal service in the future, but brunch is so worth it!

We stayed at Fort Young and our Dinners were fabulous! The Lobster is so good and the roasted Chicken was also very good. Atmosphere was very good directly on the ocean. Only downside was the cruise ship does block the sunsets.
