Various people told us Pat's Place is the place to eat on Friday Fish Fry. Unfortunately, when we got there, the line for the service was too long. We decided to go back another evening and boy, it was well worth it. The fish is fresh and you watch it grilled. Awesome selection and great sides. A definite for trying if you love fish!

The queue can be crazy on Friday’s around 7pm when I was there but it’s totally worth the wait. I tried Mahi-mahi and it tasted amazing and was without any bones. The portions are huge! It was so good I had to come back the following day!

When our taxi drivee said "IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!!" He was spot on. Great value, decent portion, flavours to make you want to come back for more. Swordfish, rice and coleslaw was incredible. Friday night had live music to enjoy too. Lovely to stroll around buzzing Oistins with it's market stalls, food huts, and musical stages.

Lovely fresh bbq fish. Had some beautiful sword fish here. Theres no table service here and waits here Friday night can easily go over 1h to place your order at the shack. Then you physically have to stand and wait for the chef to place you fishing your container from the bbq. Potions here are very generous and food is delicious. My advice would be to come down Sunday evening, its much quieter and there a karaoke on the beach front.

We came on a Friday night around 7:30 pm and saw a line forming, so we figured we’d join in, given the hype about this being ‘the best spot.’ Ended up waiting about 1 hour and 15 minutes before finally ordering. We got the swordfish plate with mac pie and coleslaw, and the shrimp with rice, beans, and coleslaw. Honestly, it wasn’t worth the wait. The swordfish plate was good , priced fairly, and came with a generous portion, but waiting over an hour for it? Definitely not. There are plenty of spots in Oistins that could serve something just as good without the long line. The real disappointment was the shrimp. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a photo, but it was just 6 shrimp that were so overcooked they were practically falling apart. It was definitely not what I expected from a place with such a reputation. Overall, it didn’t live up to the hype. There are other spots nearby where you can get a good meal without such a long wait.
