PEG Farm and Nature Reserve

PEG is a biodynamic farm on the island of Barbados. Our main focus is to promote and maintain four primary principles: biodynamics, free-range animal husbandry, broadacre permaculture and holistic management.

Enjoy our farm shop and garden-to-table cafe, camping, tours, and the beautiful landscape of Barbados.

Come find inspiration, healing, and connection to the Spirit of the land here at PEG Farm and Nature Sanctuary.

A place where people come to be inspired by a creative cultural experience  focused on environmental consciousness, regenerative agriculture, and holistic lifestyle practices.

"These important activities are supported by our beautiful polyculture farmscape, which provides an unique setting where people are vitalized by our nutritious food, restored by our educational offerings, and healed by the spirit of the land and through our wellness programs."

Outside of the beaches this was our favorite stop during our trip. A friend told us to visit and we’re glad we did! The staff were friendly and professional. Great customer service. Our tour guide David was great and very knowledgeable about all the plants and history of the area. The grounds are beautiful, and the food was delicious! Better than recommended fancy restaurants we tried—Chef Nathan and his team are serving quality and creative dishes. Highly recommend visiting this gem!

This place (and restaurant!) is phenomenal! We arrived via taxi from Fitts Village and at first wandered the ground (for free), with (unexpected) sights of macaques and gorgeous views of the coast. We had a PHENOMENAL lunch after: I had the aubergine and fritters and my husband the lamb. I had a wine spritzer and he the rum punch. All ingredients are incredibly fresh and high quality. Be prepared to wait a looooong time for food though; and service isn’t great. Still would gladly return and recommend. Huge portions. Pricey but worth it. There’s also a kitty that chills at the front called Sparkles!

The food were delicious! The best dhal hummus and pita we have had. The kids meals were great too! The staff can be a bit more attentive and friendlier. One forgot our sharing plates and never came back and the one that took our order for it wrong for the kids. I am giving them a 5 star because we left a hat there and contacted the place to get it back and were pleasantly surprised they held it for us.

We had such a great time with David ( the tour operator). He mentioned the struggles the farm has, and the history. Which is extremely rich. They have a medicine garden, and numerous lookouts with breath taking views of Batheseba. I highly recommend you bring water, and hiking shoes. Definitely stop in the restaurant on your way out of the tour. My only complaints here is the farm component is just some pigs. But David was quick to explain the elevation of events that occur there. I will definitely come back.
