Exactly as expected, lives up to the reputation. Excellent location for viewing aircraft up close. It's the first time I've ever heard the whistle of wingtip vortices! Mostly landings but widebodies also take off heading out to see, though naturally not as low as landing aircraft. Would go again with decent photography kit.

Not really a spot to go swim. It's nice if you've never seen an airplane take off or land before. I wouldn't recommend standing in the jet exhaust like many do. Just enough room in the sand for 1 chair, big tourist trap.

Very cool experience. Fun watching the planes take off and land. You'll need to be cautious when large planes are taking off because you're stuff will go flying and you will be sand blasted.

Great to see the planes landing overhead, but it's absolutely crowded, can't find free parking and locals are pushing their wares and services pretty hard. Beautiful water though!!!

What an exciting place to visit for sun-worshippers or plane spotters. Landing aircraft fly low overhead on a frequent basis and each time they generate a real buzz amongst those on the busy beach. Ideal for selfies. For those who enjoy a dip in the sea there's constant waves to enjoy too. Food, drink and toilets nearby, sun beds and umbrellas available on the beach too. Never a dull moment on this unique beach!
