Me and my friends had the most amazing experience doing a beginner dive with Phil! From the moment we walked into the family owned shop we felt calm, excited and well looked after by his wife Gillian who helped us to fill out forms and assisted us with queries. By the time we left the shop we were all well versed and confident about what was going to happen next. The dive itself was truly incredible as we explored the reefs, we were even lucky enough to see stingrays and turtles! Phil’s knowledge for the ocean and his experience shone through, especially when I found trouble with my ears he was able to gently guide me while still being attentive to the rest of our group. I would definitely recommend this experience and we are now all eager to go for the full qualification with reefers and wreckers.

Me and Julia my girlfriend had 5 dives with Phil and we actually had the best time so far! Phil showed us beautiful reefs and wrecks and really looked after every diver. We felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun. Phil really makes the dives to an unforgettable experience finding the best spots for every diving level. We saw turtles, baracudas big fish schools and beautiful corals. Every diving spot was unique. We recommend everyone to dive with Phil! Reefers and Wreckers is worth every dollar. The best experience for us so far.

I went diving with Phil and Chris(captain) 4 days of 2 tank diving. It was a great experience. Phil maximizes dive time and tailors each dive to the divers’ experience level. I felt completely comfortable with Phil and Chris. I appreciate the island vibe approach also. The plan is to go out at 9:00 but it can fluctuate as conditions change. The reefs and sea life are in good condition. Didn’t see any bleaching. Visibility and sea conditions were very good as well. We also dove Paul Allen’s sunken sub and the Pamir wreck. If you’re going to dive in Barbados, go with Reefers & Wreckers. They treat you right with good value for your money and an excellent dive experience.

Reefers and Wreckers were excellent from start to finish. I dealt mainly with Phillip, who was communicative, professional, and kindly fitted me out the day before at short notice to save time on the dive day itself. His wife Gillian ran the shop and was absolutely lovely, thorough, welcoming, and well organised. I did a refresher dive followed by a reef dive and a wreck dive. Having not dived in four or five years, I felt completely confident: Phillip and Don were careful, reassuring, and made sure all kit and skills were squared away. Beautiful sites, fair prices, and very grateful for the excellent experience with them!

Phil, Don and Jemima were all excellent. Phil was very communicative by whatsapp and he easily accommodated our group of four (one discover scuba, one advanced and two open water divers). This dive shop is also in Speightstown which was convenient for us. We did a reef dive and wreck dive. Both were great and all the instructors and wider team are very knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend this dive shop.
