Not sure why all the reviews described it as secluded, it was packed. We went on a local holiday, and everyone else was local (not a bad thing but parking was scarce). Probably it's quiet on week days. Better to go to Hermitage Bay. The resort does not limit access and is not too "overwhelming", it's just a few beach cabanas and no loud music. Locals were also enjoying Hermitage Bay when we went. The water at Hermitage was quiet and clear, we saw a stingray.

The beach is very clean. Water nice and clear. No big crowd.

Water is amazing! Many places to set up camp and quite secluded and shady all while having space to soak in the sun. Overall amazing beach

My favourite beach on the Island!! Accessed by paddle board from North Beach. Deserted Island paradise!!

The road to get there is atrocious, 4x4 recommend, but the beach... magical, with plenty of pelicans.
