My wife and I just had the Ocean burger and the 1-patty signature burger. Both were absolutely delicious. The seasoning of the Ocean burger was a fabulous surprise. The signature burger tastes like a burger should. We will eat these burgers again and that’s a serious commitment because we take burgers very seriously. On a hungrier night, would love to try their fully loaded double.
As a bonus: great fries!
If you like burgers, do not miss this place. Excellent.

After going three years of what, to me, felt like a paucity of preferable burger options or offerings, in a short space of time, three new Christ Church restaurants have opened with their primary focus being the burger.
Unexpected for Barbados as even McDonald's only lasted a year in Barbados, it seems that the tides have changed and culinary interested, in more than throwaway option on otherwise themed menus, had come to the fore.
I had given up on burgers until I found one, at Bali Beach Club, that finally gladdened my NYC-based palette. But it was the one burger with limited options which wouldn't necessarily invite the curiosity of the array and variety of burger lovers.
Then the excellent Rebell Burger Bar opened up in Dover/St. Lawrence Gap that brought true pride and skill into an excellent burger prep and service. It quickly became my regular go-to burger spot when I previously had none.
Then just last week I sampled a double cheeseburger from the new Worthing Square Food Garden truck Smash'd which likewise brought a very satisfying "A-game" to their list of burger options. Though not as geographically close, it is more conveniently located as I can just take a quicker bus from my corner to "the Square" as opposed to the longer timed walk down Dover gap—a sometimes precipitous endeavor between the heat and my disability.
And lastly, last night, I checked out Burger Bar (BB) in St. Michael to have what I could argue is the (perhaps by design) closest to the NYC burger "scene," with the 2010s-style graphics and fonts that decorated every type of food shop at the time, and even with a logo that at first sight thought was that of the once very popular Burger Joint in the Parker Meridien hotel in midtown Manhattan.
The Burger Bar double cheeseburger I ordered was delicious, a meal of a size for a fair price, and I was also nicely impressed by the flavor and consistency of an old school-style NYC milkshake.
Burger Bar is presently enjoying some first days popularity; the lines and wait to order and then receive my meal was over 90 minutes. Worth it perhaps for the research, but wouldn't wait that long again (as it was for me when Shake Shack first opened in NYC).
But all three burger spots are so impressive that, expecting to be asked, I don't have to bother with a "favorite." I would gladly order from the spot that was closest or most convenient whenever the burger craving hit.
And I hope that all three burger spots continue to bring burgers—good/great burgers—back into the national food consciousness.
That alone says a meaty mouthful.
