The four of us spend the afternoon here at the beach as non-resort guests. A cabana is $50 and comes with a large bottle of still (Aqua Panna) or sparkling (San pelegrino) water. A sunbed is $20 and comes with a small bottle. The staff was really friendly and the food was good. We had two sushi rolls, a Nicoise and Ceaser salad. During the afternoon the staff came round with some complementary watermelon slices. Would recommend it to spend a relaxing day here.

We stayed at Sorobon Luxury Beach Resort and had most of our meals at the Reef Bar, not just because it was convenient, but because the food was excellent and the service very warm. It was nice to be greeted by familiar faces throughout our stay. Julia was an amazing server, she and her colleagues (whose names we unfortunately missed) made sure every meal was perfect! The two chefs were also very friendly and seemed genuinely happy we enjoyed the food so much. Thanks to the resort, breakfast was included each day, and they were always generous and delicious. We can’t wait to come back!

Sorobon Reef Bar was one of the absolute highlights of our two-week stay on Bonaire. We first discovered it while taking the beautiful drive from Villa Papagayo along EEG Boulevard, passing the Salt Pier, the salt pans of Oranje Pan, Pink Beach, and the island's famous kiteboarding and windsurfing areas before arriving at Sorobon Bay. We only intended to stop for a drink, but immediately fell in love with the place. Walking through the lush tropical gardens toward the restaurant genuinely felt like arriving at a luxury eco-style barefoot resort in Thailand. The setting is simply stunning. Whether you sit on the covered terrace or directly on the beach with your feet in the sand, the views across the shallow turquoise waters of Sorobon Bay, with windsurfers gliding by, are unforgettable. We originally planned to stay for one drink but ended up having dinner. We enjoyed it so much that we returned several more times during our vacation for drinks, lunch, dinner, and even rented beach beds for a couple of days. It became one of those places we kept looking forward to visiting again. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, the cocktails were great, and the service was consistently warm and friendly. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, combining barefoot luxury with a laid-back island vibe. What surprised us most was that it never felt crowded. We couldn't understand why more visitors weren't making the short drive from Kralendijk, because in our opinion this is one of Bonaire's hidden gems. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the Belgian owners, who told us about the transformation of the resort and its cottages. They have created something truly special here. During our stay we visited several times, and every visit confirmed our first impression. Together with Soi95 and Luciano, Sorobon Reef Bar became one of the highlights of our Bonaire vacation. Highly recommended.

We stopped here as we were doing a little coastal loop and I was excited because I’ve heard great things about this place. It wasn’t very busy and we grabbed a table, were acknowledged fairly quickly and given menus and ordered a bottle of water. I ordered a pornstar martini and we We ended up ordering ceviche and shrimp tempura to share and each got a poke bowl, one tuna and one tofu. The cocktail sat on the bar waiting desperately to be delivered to our table for nearly ten minutes and was fully separated by the time it arrived. I asked for it to be re-shaken (not re-made) and then the server came back with the cocktail and told me it was supposed to look that way. Finally the bartender agreed to fix it and it got remade and I thought I saw him separating an egg but egg white isn’t an ingredient in that cocktail so I brushed it off. I had a few sips and it tasted entirely wrong and separated again fairly quickly. There was no one around at all to ask about it and so I pushed it off to the side and toward the end of the meal a server finally asked how things were. I told her I wouldn’t be drinking it and asked if there was egg white and she said yes. It’s *not* listed on the menu, and definitely does not belong in the cocktail. I’ve been a bartender for 20 years (currently managing one back in the states) and putting egg white in a cocktail that doesn’t usually have it without denoting it on the menu at bare minimum is shameful - the pornstar martini has been around for decades, if you’re going to not follow the recipe in the slightest, at least don’t have the audacity to call it that. And they didn’t even use fresh passion fruit, I saw them using Finest Call purée which is some of the cheapest on the market. Aside from the cocktail we never saw our server again and finished our bottle of water fairly quickly and weren’t offered another. The ceviche was just fish with avocado on the side and some large slices of raw red onion. Taste was fine but it was bizarre. The tempura shrimp were a strange texture and the poke bowls came with a ramekin of plain soy sauce on the side as well as a strange mayo. I unfortunately assumed it was poke dressing and poured it all onto my bowl and found out what a bad mistake I had made. Sadly we paid $100 for a supremely mediocre lunch.

Sorobon Reef Bar. Have eaten there several times and wish I had eaten there more. For lunch have had the Tuna Poke Bowl, Reef Burger and Chicken club sandwich - all were surprisingly delicious. And for dinner the coconut shrimp with udon noodles and Caesar salad with chicken. All amazingly delicious, great service and atmosphere, fantastic scenery, my favorite restaurant in Bonaire.
