Attended a funeral but The Priest at this/these services always deliver such thought provoking and insightful sermons.. outside of that The Church gives off a welcoming feeling almost like ur home..

Why did we have to stand in the rain until the funeral home arrived with the coffin? Was told don't want people walking in and out cause the church was sanitizer!!! Hello, the people you're referring to are the people attending the funeral, what in and out? And you wonder why many have lost disrespect for the house of the Lord, oh and you could at least power wash the slippery moss of the entrances, I'm sure at least 3 of your members have such equipment, and I was actually confirmed there in 1982, a true disappointment

The St George Parish Church is an Anglican/Episcopal Church in the St. George's in Barbados. This is one of the more popular churches in the Island and it is sometimes called "The Wedding Church" locally (for obvious reasons). A note to brides (and grooms) who enjoy being fashionably late, if you miss the one of three time slots on a weekend wedding day (it's that popular) you may have to reschedule the whole ceremony and may incur a fine. The grounds, Architecture and ambiance of the location are all quite attractive. Constructed during the height of "King Sugar" this edifice with it's supporting buildings and structures looks slightly out of place within the environment but in a good way. I really enjoyed my visit to the Church and was enamored by it charm and appearance.
