Located in historical Holetown, a visit to one of the oldest churches on the island...some may argue this one has that title with plenty of history is not to be missed. With its beautiful architectural facade both inside and out is truly lovely with a magnificent organ display. My visit on this occasion is to attend their ever popular garden party with beautiful displays of tropical flowers that adorned inside the church...to the walkways, pews and the alter. Entertainment for the kids and adults with the very entertaining and renowned Barbados Police Service band. A well spread out area for a comfortable relaxing afternoon with vendors selling food, sweet treats, plants & wares along with arts & crafts showcasing each artisan's talent in your presence. The ever popular afternoon tea is always a hit with visitors and locals alike...who looks forward to this annual event of fundraising...a must visit when on island.

Beautiful old church with friendly parishioners. Bring a fan to keep cool, maybe even a bottle of water. If you’re touring, please be respectful of the grounds, especially if there’s a sermon going on. We attended a mass for Good Friday and there were tour vans stopping every five minutes with people coming in the back and side entrances to watch a few minutes and take photos. It was very distracting and rude, and judging by some of the ushers’ faces, a regular occurrence. Be better tourists.

The church was closed on a Saturday midday, so we only walked around it. Too bad it wasn’t open to go inside.

The church was closed upon our arrival. However, as we walked around the church, one of the workers opened the doors for us to enter. Very beautiful site.

We called in on route somewhere else but spent an age there. Fascinating histories and architecture. All brought to life by one of the local volunteer guides
