Yet another historical church in Bridgetown...this one bares the name Cathedral as there's another Anglican Church in Bridgetown with a significant history connected to it...St Mary's Church.
Located on St Michael's Row this church is also full of history and is one of the oldest on the island...Barbados's first premier, Prime Ministers and prominent people of society at the time are all buried on the church grounds.
The aesthetic and architecture are beautiful inside along with its organ feature, I was impressed with the gravestones buried under the church floor and well preserved, the many plaques and memorial adorned the church walls was also quite impressive.
The church yard with its vast gravestones and grounds are well maintained with lovely shaded trees...opposite the Central Bank of Barbados, this area connection is quite nice and clean with benches to relax on a beautiful day.

Very nice cathedral. Completely different from the ones we are used to see in Europe. I think it’s a must see when you’re visiting Bridgetown.

Sitting here at 12:00 pm and hearing the bell chime was pleasant. It would be great if the clock(s) could be repaired or replace on this historical site because growing up and walking through the city I remember looking up at the tower to see the time

Very enjoyable church and well worth a visit. Outside are many gravestones from the early 1800s. Inside the church are graves on the floor, some from the 1600s, and many plaques on the wall, with very touching words of affection.

The Anglican cathedral in Bridgetown. The plaque says it was erected in 1665. But it had undergone renovation due to Hurricane and other natural calamities.
