My favorite place I visited in Barbados to chill and eat. Go on a Sunday evening, it's reggaeton night ! The vibes are awesome, there is a campfire, beachfront view and seating and a bar. Gotta pay and entry fee of 20bbd but it's worth it. The food was good; I got the shrimp pasta as main, my girlfriend the spicy pork ribs and we got the flying fish as entree. That was my favorite meal there, I wish there were more than two tacos. My shrimps were amazing but the sauce wasn't my favorite. Amazing cocktails tho! The prices weren't that bad for that sort of place imo. As for the atmosphere, perfect is all I can say. Got to dance to the amazing reggaeton band's music ! I recommend this place as a must see in Barbados :))

We have been coming here a long while as we live close by, since it has been taken over by new ownership it is outstanding, the service is fantastic and really personal, the drink quality has improved leaps and bounds, the setting is getting more majestic by the week with new touches and updates within the structure, the food is the star of the show, can tell the chef is passionate about his craft, I’ve had the sautéed shrimp it was excellent, catch of the day was the best I’ve had anywhere on the island and the mushroom dish on the mains was phenomenal the best veg dish I’ve ever had, have also tried the flatbreads and fish cakes also excellent, this is such a hidden gem for more than one reason and an epic setting like no other on the island with both an open fire, the ocean in the background and enough fairy lights to feel like you’re in a movie, the entertainment is always great, the jazz night is excellent, dj bill gates is great and Sunday reggae night speaks for itself, I cannot recommend this establishment enough, it is not in the hot spot location wise but it is more than worth the travel for food that’s up there with more memorable dishes than the high end restaurants and a vibe that’s excellent makes it hard to leave.

A beautiful place to feel at home! Surfer’s Bay in Barbados is truly a very special place. The beautiful location, the stunning sea and the relaxed atmosphere make it a wonderful place to enjoy and unwind. You immediately feel welcome and can simply relax and enjoy the Caribbean way of life. What made our experience even more special was the super friendly and warm service. Our waitress Mike was incredibly kind, attentive and always had a lovely smile. She made us feel very welcome and looked after us so well. Every moment there feels a little bit like being in paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Surfer’s Bay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barbados. It’s a place you’ll remember fondly and want to come back to. Absolutely recommend it – a little piece of paradise in Barbados! ❤️

Fantastic cocktails and environment. But the service was exceptional, as was the food. Chef Ryan has created one of the best things I’ve had in Barbados-the beef bites-and has made me a fan. He was kind enough to send me a taste of them and come chat to me about it. Legend. Eat the beef bites!
